In her work Calima, Sandra Aicart addresses the study of time, landscape and the individual through the experience of the image. A sensitive exercise on the transformation suffered by man and his environment, through the allusive figure of dust and its journey through the landscape.  The project was awarded through the photo Beyond the information given and shown alongside Samûn in a solo exhibition at the “Reial Academia de Sabadell” foundation (2019).

Samûn despicts depicts how the landscape suffers the sudden dismissal and the useless effort that can sometimes mean preventing it. The work addresses the continuity of the image and establishes a message about time and its cyclical nature, through photographic installations in which the pieces themselves are subjected to the adversities of the environment and  exploring the cyclical nature of the photographic language.

Éxodos is a work about the environment and the figure of the abandoned place, as the stage where is located the border between memory and forgetfulness. Each piece works as a residue that allows you to follow a different trail to a place with its own history and development. The work stages the dematerialization of the dust, offering an introspective look at the landscape.

Memorias de un Sujeto confronts the ideas of the past and the future and delimits the creation, the wishes and the possible choices with the origin and the own culture and memory, personified through the vestiges or signs that are in the environment and the fleetingness of the image. The work is a staged journey through the interior of an individual's mind, in which each new image is conditioned by the previous ones.
