Paisajes Prohibidos
Colectivo Kráter

"Paisajes Prohibidos" is an interdisciplinary project developed by the collective "Krater" in 2018. The work delves into a poetic exploration of the military anthropization scattered across different locations in Gran Canaria

The project adopts two perspectives: an aerial view and an on-site approach, which provide two distinct approaches to the landscape. The first approach involves a visual representation of the forms and orders extracted from human matter within certain constructions. The second approach seeks to uncover hidden truths, those that emerge within cultural and social contexts as a rejection of certain military properties.

Krater operates as a multidisciplinary artistic collective, comprising Lizeth Quintero (Calarca) as the photographer, David Sánchez Pérez (Las Palmas de G.C) as the architect, Alberto González Pulido (Las Palmas de G.C.) as the cultural manager, and Sandra Aicart (Castellón de la Plana) as the visual artist. The project is compiled into a photobook that encompasses images of the artwork, actions, and texts that were part of the research.

The project was exhibited at the Gabinete Literario under the curation of the PSJM collective in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, Spain, in 2018.
