Objectos

Objetos, Photographic Installation,

Barcelona, 2014-2016

"Objectos" is a photographic installation that invites us to explore the relationship between objects and the memories they encapsulate. Through a unique perspective, we immerse ourselves in an intimate and personal universe where each object carries stories and meanings that transcend its physical form.

Viewed from above, a box filled with memories. What memories does this box contain? Why do we keep them? Why can a specific object evoke a memory and become so precious to us? Contemplate this collection and observe how, progressively, it expands in material and size.

Located in Barcelona between the years 2014 and 2016, this project invites us to delve into the complexity of memory and the evocative power of everyday objects. Each displayed photograph transports us to a frozen moment in time, capturing the essence of those cherished memories that connect us with our identity and past experiences.

As we explore this installation, we embark on an emotional journey where nostalgia and curiosity intertwine. We wonder what stories hide behind each object, what emotions and experiences are awakened as we contemplate them. The collection grows in material and size, offering us a visual and sensory experience that constantly expands.

"Object/Subject #1" is more than just a photographic exhibition; it is an invitation to reflect on our own relationship with objects and the memories they hold. It challenges us to explore the beauty and complexity of memory and to appreciate the value we assign to certain objects in our lives.

We invite you to immerse yourself in this visual and emotional journey, to contemplate each image, and to be carried away by the stories that unfold before your eyes. "Object/Subject #1" is an experience that broadens our perspective and invites us to appreciate the magic of memories contained within each object.
