"Luna Palm" is a visual essay that invites us to reflect on our connection with space and our place in the universe. Through the exploration of the desert landscape of the Middle East and the experience at the European Space Agency (ESA), the artist creates an artistic series that examines lunar aesthetics and its relationship with contemporary culture

Immersing themselves in the desert landscape of the Middle East, the artist finds inspiration in Wadi Rum, known as the "Valley of the Moon" due to its resemblance to the lunar surface. The artistic series "Luna Palm" seeks to explore the similarities between the earthly and lunar environment and question the relationship between art, science, and space. Through their experience at the ESA, the artist acquires knowledge about space simulations and lunar surface analysis, allowing them to capture the beauty and complexity of the moon in their work.

The "Luna Palm" series also highlights the importance of understanding the rules and limitations of an unfamiliar environment, both culturally and in terms of survival. The experience in the Wadi Rum desert, inhabited by diverse cultures throughout history, reveals how humans have adapted to extreme environments and developed techniques for survival. Additionally, the artistic work underscores the relevance of understanding cultural and religious norms in unfamiliar settings, as well as the importance of safety and environmental preservation in space exploration.

Within the Project Beyond the Information Given, we are presented with an artistic series that merges lunar aesthetics with contemporary culture and science, inviting us to reflect on our relationship with space and consider the implications of space exploration.
