Exodos
Project

Éxodos (Exodus) is a captivating artwork that takes viewers on a search journey through the city and its abandoned places. It begins as an exploration, tracing the trail of forgotten spaces and unraveling their stories.

The artwork delves into the concept of dematerialization, presenting a unique and introspective perspective of the landscape. The focus shifts from the physical presence of the abandoned places to the subtle transformation of dust, symbolizing the passage of time and the integration of nature with man-made structures.

What sets Éxodos apart is its approach to image production. Rather than relying on a traditional series format in photography, where multiple images are presented together, this project treats each image as an individual piece with its own narrative and development. It embraces a process akin to painting, allowing each image to stand on its own while contributing to the overall exploration of the theme.

The exhibition of Éxodos took place at the Sala Miró, located at the University of Barcelona. This venue provided the perfect space to showcase the artistic investigation and engage viewers in contemplation and reflection. The exhibition served as a platform for the artist to share their unique perspective on the city, abandoned places, and the profound connection between nature and human presence.

Éxodos invites viewers to embark on a visual and conceptual journey, exploring the hidden layers of urban landscapes and contemplating the beauty that emerges from the intersection of nature and human existence.
