Couple

Couple, video-performance, 2015, Alicante

"Couple" is a cinematic creation that immerses us in a unique and contemplative experience. Through this piece, the dynamics and changes that occur in a relationship over time are explored. The waterproof layer becomes a symbol of protection, but it can also generate a sense of isolation and distance.

"Couple" is a meditation on the passage of time and the atmosphere created within a relationship. In this work, the couple appears completely covered by a waterproof layer, creating a slow and subtle interplay of lights and shadows. Over a span of 4 hours, the coexistence of the two partners under this envelopment is documented.

The documentary captures intimate moments and interactions between the two protagonists, revealing the complexity and fragility of a relationship. The work invites the viewer to reflect on the ephemeral aspects of human relationships and how time affects our perception of them.

"Couple" is a cinematic experience that challenges our conventional notions of time, intimacy, and connection. Through moving images, we are invited to explore the depth and vulnerability of human relationships, as well as to reflect on our own experiences in the realm of couples.

We invite you to immerse yourself in this cinematic journey, to delve into the intimacy of this couple, and to contemplate the ephemeral nature of human relationships. "Couple" is a work that invites us to ponder the power of time and emotional connection within the context of a relationship.
